What are spirit sticks?
Spirit Sticks® are small custom-embroidered patches that students can earn, collect, and display on a Spirit Ring™, lanyard, or key ring. Spirit Sticks at Fabra is the equivalent to a letterman jacket. Spirit Sticks will become available for purchase around holidays and major events in order to empower children and promote friendship and love through a meaningful keepsake.
What is the keychain for?
Spirit Rings™ - are custom-embroidered keychains that students display Spirit Sticks® on. Spirit Rings™ work great on backpacks, lunch boxes, instrument cases, jackets and more. (from spirit monkey.com)
At Fabra, every student was given a Fabra keychain! Keychains were put on EVERY backpack to ensure they would not get lost. Fabra keychains are available to parents for $3 each.
Why has the pto brought spirit sticks to fabra?

How can I help my student earn Spirit Sticks?
- Encourage your students to be Fabra Leaders! A good leader leads by serving and by being a good example for those around them. As student recognition Spirit Sticks become available, your student will know. Help him/her come up with strategies for earning Spirit Stick and keep cheering them on!
- Parent Packs will be available soon! Parent packs are SS that have been specially designed for students to earn at home. While it would be easy to simply give them to your student, having your student earn parent SS will help them to learn how to be a Fabra Leader.
Can I buy Spirit Sticks for my student's entire class?
Yes! This is something that is available to parents, but is subject to availability. If you are interested in purchasing for your student's class, plan ahead and buy early!
